Day 6

Today started with the full team heading to the orphanage which was the first day we all went which was fantastic! Please continue to pray for Chantelle, Jacob and Courtney who are feeling much better today, please also pray for Natalie and Renee as they recover from a small bout of Bali Belly.

  • At the Bible study last night I recognised the real nature of God, not that I didn’t know He was real, but seeing people from all over the world, from all different denominations in a small group openly discussing our love for Him, it was comforting. I was able to grasp how great and how real God’s love really is for everyone, and I mean EVERYONE. Courtney
  • I really haven’t stopped to think about what I have experienced in Bali until tonight. It has been much different to my first visit. All I could see in Bali before was the despair and sadness, this time I can see some hope. Rachel
  • It has been really good to knuckle down as a group and get some really good work done. Each person in the group has been able to be utilised in the work which is fantastic. It has beenĀ great to seeĀ Thom is working really hard. Brett
  • Everyone has been working hard. A lot has been achieved. It is great to see the changes happening at the orphanage. It is great to see the changes in the teams relationships as we all grow. Praise the Lord for this opportunity. Sue
  • If you want to see love in action check out the photos of HV women older than me mixing cement and pushing wheelbarrows full of the stuff. Paul
  • Thank God fo this opportunity to feel alive and see His love in action. To see prayers answered as the “sickies” are able to work, enjoy and be part of the team. Also that your prayers for us for “cool” weather. God bless you all. Kaye
  • We prayed for good weather and we got it, getting into brick-making and another day of that tomorrow, we want 200 in a day tomorrow so good sleep and into it. Ian
  • God has shown His love by having Dianne praying for us all the whole time here has been wonderful. Praise the Lord for bringing these people together. Thank you for the prayers. Roslyn
  • Was another day of hard work. My highlight was getting to learn some “Balinese”, and using it with the locals, who really appreciated it. In fact they were even more friendly because of it. Bill
  • Another great day at the brick yard. Harold
  • I had no idea I had 2 cement makers in our family. Proud of them both. Dianne
  • I can now add cementing to my list of expertise. Natalie
  • Today was boring! Because I was sweeping and sanding. Really boring!!! Jordan
  • Knackered, was on the mixer all day. My hair is now cement. Good doing it all though. Building up a nice tan. Jacob
  • Today I sanded a room with my new friend Molly, then helped make and move cement. Brilliant day! Chantelle
  • I am so proud of my 3 men. Tom even had his lunch while cementing the sewer with Rob. Continue to pray for God to speak deeply into the hearts of team members. Love Viv

Thankyou for your prayers and messages of love and support, the team really appreciate the messages at our morning prayer time.

Blessings Renee

    Hey guys,
First of all well done Renee for keeping up the blog so well. It’s great to be informed of your progress from this end.

Good to hear you all survived the bike ride and dad didn’t hit a car;) ubud is a beautiful place and it would have been great to explore by wheels.

As you transform the orphanage I pray you’ll have time to reflect on what it means for you personally. Romans 12 talks of allowing yourself to be transformed by the word of God.

Have a good rest of your stay and God bless
