So as promised tonight’s messages are from our men. The ladies headed out to their Bible study tonight so the men were left to their own devices.
Just to let you know about our day though. Some of us headed to Uluwatu to the surfing beach and Monkey Temple and the rest stayed back to see the local area and rest if needed.
- Nice to spend the day with Brett. Jacob

- Friday was a long day – spent carting bricks, mixing cement, hauling cement but the septic started to take shape. One of the best and most satisfying things was working alongside one of the orphans, Putu – 14 yrs old. He worked as hard as any other grown man on the site – a special day. Wayne
- Hi HVUC Sian
- Today Walter and I walked into Seminak. On two separate occasions we were offered girls. This was really sad. I really hope the work we are doing here at the school and the orphanage can give these children better opportunities. Paul
- Friday AM making bricks and missed out on a pastie and sausage roll for lunch, lunch pack again. PM Organising mortar and cement for the pit. Then a great job – preparing iron for the roof. Today to Monkey temple OK but the Uluwatu beach cave was a great place. The steps were very hard to climb but worth the effort. Ian
- Today was fun; we went to Uluwatu beach and the monkey temple. At the temple mum was scared of the monkeys. I also saw a monkey grab someone’s shoes and start eating it! Jordan
Our team have been so blessed to be able to grow in our faith and love for our God and for each other. Please continue to pray for team unity and opportunities to speak and share our faith with the Balinese.
Please pray for Roger as he preaches tomorrow and the worship team as they lead the congregation. Please also pray for the team heading to Western Bali and Ani, there are a few fears and concerns about this part of the trip so please keep them in your prayers.
Blessings Renee
Great job your doing there guys. Keep it up. The kids in Bali will be very grateful for the work done.
What a lot of lovely women! – no shoes made us think of the blessing of being able to take Toms shoes to Bali. How wonderful that must have been. We continue to pray for everyone’s health and especially for Sian’s ear infection to clear quickly. May God’s love be very evident in all that you are doing each day. Be safe, hugged and prayed for. Our love Ed and Judy Ely

Just love reading the blog and seeing the photo’s – makes us want to be there with you! Sorry to hear there has been some icky tummies – hope you are all on the mend and “functioning as normally as possible – for Bali”. Looking forward to seeing the team matching henna tattoo’s from this years team! (Just kidding Viv.) Keep up the good work on the blog – prayers and blessings to you all. Jo, Dave and Georgia Amber.
